Our Philosophy
- Taylor's Preschool and childcare has been providing a warm and nurturing environment in which your children can experience healthy and delightful opportunities to grow. We view each child as being competent, capable, curious and rich in potential and our goal is to design an environment for young children to feel accepted and learn to have mutual respect for each other. We develop all our curriculum in a way that maximizes the development of your child socially, emotionally, physically, linguistically and cognitively, keeping in mind that each program is designed to meet and challenge the children at age appropriate levels, each day is alive with new adventures for learning!
- Parents as Partners
- We believe that parental involvement is an essential part of how we can successfully care for your children. We encourage all parents to visit, participate in programs, and even offer to share their own talents with the children such as singing dancing, reading and music!
Our Programs
- All of our programs offer a variety of experiences and is developed to address all developmental milestones from birth to 5 years of age. Each room implements program plans that are geared to meet the needs and abilities of the children and are adjusted weekly. Full time and part time programs are available.
Infant (5-18 Months)
- Our infant program provides an opportunity for children to safely explore and interact with their surrounding environment. Infants develop through a variety of sensory and movement experiences that we promote through various toys and activities. Twice a day we give the infants opportunities to explore creative arts with a wide variety of age appropriate material. They are also nurtured by following each baby's sleep, feeding and play routines, as it is done at home To ensure that parents are involved in caring for their child, we provide a daily record of each baby's activities, food intake, and diaper routine.
Toddler (18-30 Months)
- Your infant will graduate to the toddler classroom where they begin to display more independence and curiosity while becoming even more comfortable with the class' daily routine. As a result, we provide age- appropriate toys, equipment and art activities that help them interact and engage their environment in a safe and exciting way. We also begin to introduce technology where the kids have an opportunity to play educational based games on our tablets for 15-20 minutes per day.
Preschool (2-5-5 Years)
- Following the toddler program, your child will enter our preschool classroom where we focus on preparing your children for kindergarten. we engage each child with appropriate activities to promote, cognitive, problem solving and language skills (such as games, arts, crafts, baking, etc.) and teach them to explore, make choice, and develop strong characters that's is crucial in the next stage of their social development. lastly, we build on their familiarity technology by using our in-room computers where children not only learn to use a mouse and keyboard but get to have fun while playing educational based games and software for 15-20 minutes per day.
